Can E! Salvage The Fashion Police? 5 Hosts We Think Would Work

celebs

Following the death of Joan Rivers, the controversy created by Guiliana Rancic and the departures of Kelly Osbourne and Kathy Griffin, it seems that E!’s “Fashion Police” is pretty much a goner. The show is currently on hiatus until September, presumably while producers scramble for a way to replace the entirety of the show and keep it on the air for a few more seasons. With awards season behind us, it’s not a bad gig to take it off the air for a while, but can the celebrity fueled network salvage what’s left of the show? It almost seems as if having the show on the air after the death of Rivers was a bad idea, but it seems people do like to see others ripped to shreds and turned into jokes based on what they are wearing, and we are wondering if there is anyone out there willing to take on the role of host and be part of the program – and we are wondering if there is any way that the network can salvage anything to this point. If E! is going to bring back the show, we think that they need to choose the right hosts. These need to be people that have a concept of fashion; people who know fashion and know the industry, and people who have a reputation good enough with celebrities to poke fun at them without too much malice. It is, after all, an entertainment show that does require some form of entertainment. With that said, we’ve got a few suggestions for potential hosts, and we thought we’d share them with you.

Kourtney Kardashian

The eldest Kardashian sister is honest and brutal; to the point and still nice about it. She’s well-dressed and has a couple of kids so she probably won’t be hateful, but we think she’s got it.

Lisa Vanderpump

The Real Housewife doesn’t care what anyone thinks of her, so we think that will make her an excellent host for this show. And she’s so fashionable, to boot.

Lisa Rinna

She’s a great host, she just barely missed out on the gig next to Regis Philbin that went to Kelly Ripa, and she’s stylish. People love her and she’s found newfound fame on the Real Housewives.

Brandi Glanville

Okay, so we have a lot of housewives on here, and it’s for good reason. They’re famous and stylish, and they’re fabulous. And we think that Glanville is so outspoken and honest and uncaring what others think that she’d make a great host!

Sofia Vergara

We need a comedian on the show, and she’s the one we choose. She’s gorgeous, stylish, funny and her accent makes everything even funnier. And she’s probably not about to apologize for her jokes, which does work.
