It’s that time of year when everyone’s favorite television shows are returning with their fall premiers, and people are excited about the return of their favorite hits. American Horror Story is slated to return this Wednesday, and there is a big rumor going around Hollywood just in time for the beginning of the new season of the freaky show. So what’s the rumor? The rumor is that Gwyneth Paltrow is looking for a way to be part of the show, and she’s not stopping until she has a role.
“She would love to be on this show. We’ll see,” said American Horror Story creator, Ryan Murphy. “She’s my lady. Gwyneth is such a light to the world, I think. Such a beautiful person. She’s so special to me and my family, so we had a little dinner to say we love you and thank you,” he said of Paltrow, who apparently loves the show and wants a part of her own.
The show is one of the scariest on television and the new season is taking fans to Florida, where the season will kick off with some exciting new faces and some exciting new storylines. Whether or not Paltrow will actually have a part in the series is unknown. Murphy has said that the cast of characters on the set have been carefully chosen, and that it took the crew as long as a year to find the best people for the roles, so it’s uncertain whether or not he will cast Paltrow.
“We wanted an authentic special-ability cast. That was a worldwide search,” he said of the show’s determination to find people perfect for each role. Fans of the show have Wednesday night’s premiere to look forward to, and perhaps the addition of Gwyneth Paltrow to the cast – at least as a guest character in a future episode.
