Dana White Net Worth

Dana White

Dana White is an American businessman with an estimated net worth of $350 million. Born on July 28, 1969, he is the President of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Born in Manchester, Connecticut, his parents are Dana White Sr. and June White. While we are not entirely certain what happened to his father, he and his sister were raised by his mother and by her family most all of their childhood. His family is Irish and he has been boxing since he was 17. Dana White graduated from high school in Maine and began a career in boxing in the late 80s.

His career is one that has been a long running one. Some of his earlier days in the boxing world are a little bit sketchy and unknown, but we do know that he spent much of his life after high school working hard to become a boxer and to do what he needed to do go get where he is today. He spent some time boxing, though none of it was professional. It seemed that he was not getting anywhere in his career, so he became a manager for some other boxers that were looking for someone to handle the business end of his life. He worked hard to become a manager and to take his knowledge of business and sports and turn it into a career. Some of the guys he managed included famed boxer Chuck Liddell and even Tito Ortiz. In fact, it was while he was managing their careers in the early 2000s that he was made aware that the UFC was looking for a buyer.

Semaphore Entertainment Group was the owner of the UFC, and they needed someone to buy it. Dana White knew he wanted to run this company and get on board with this, but he needed the capital to buy it. That being said, he contacted his friend Lorenzo Fertitta, who was an executive at Station Casinos. They were childhood friends and they found a way to raise the capital they needed to buy the UFC and make it their own, along with Lorenzo’s older brother, Frank. They made Dana White the president and they bought the company in 2001.

Personally, Dana White is an atheist and he has had a number of public feuds with the men who fight in the UFC, including his former client Tito Ortiz, who was angry that White could no longer manage him after taking over the UFC. He suffers from Meniere’s Disease, which means he has issues in his inner ear that can affect his balance and the way that he moves. He manages it quite well, though it does occasionally have an effect on his ability to fight when he has the opportunity to take down an opponent.

He is married to Anne, and together they have three children. He considers himself a philanthropist, and has been known to spend a lot of his own money on different causes that he feels are important to him and to his family’s beliefs.
