Eminem Net Worth

Eminem is an American rapper with an estimated net worth of $190 million. He was born on October 17, 1972 in Missouri. His father is Marshall Bruce Mathers Jr. and his mother is Deborah Rae Nelson. His mother became pregnant and gave birth when she was only 17-years-old. She was in labor for more than 73 hours, and the childbirth almost killed her due to the many complications she experienced throughout the course of her labor. His parents did not last very long, separating when Eminem was only a child. His mother moved him back and forth from Michigan to Missouri, and his childhood was not a good one.

It wasn’t until he was 11 that they settled in the projects of Detroit for good. H tried very hard as a child to keep in touch with his fathers, but his frequent letters always came back to him in the mail as a return to sender, and it was crushing for the adolescent boy. Surprisingly, though, he was often described as a very happy child despite all that he’d been through in his life and the fact that he was the victim of many bullies throughout his life. He did not have many friends, but he did prefer to be alone much of the time. For most of his childhood, he wanted to write comic books. It was when he first heard a rap by Ice-T that he made the decision to become a rapper. Being a while child in a predominately African-American neighborhood with a dream of being a rapper in a predominantly African-American musical genre, though, was a problem for Eminem.

He began rapping with a friend at 14, and his mother took in a runaway who was only 17 at the time. He later ended up getting her pregnant and beginning an on-again, off-again relationship with Kim that was often very volatile and dangerous, and one that allowed him many different works in his rapping career. He rapped in Detroit for many years, and he began to receive a pretty good reputation for his creative raps. He would take words, make them work so that most everything in his raps rhymed and he would work hard on them. A lover of writing and English, this often came very easily to him. He worked with groups, he rapped and he got into trouble with the law for many years.

However, when he began to develop his alter ego, Slim Shady, he began to garner more fame and attention. He released the Slim Shady LP in 1999 and it was one of the most amazing albums of the year. He’s released 8 studio albums to date, he’s toured the world, he’s acted and he has gone through extensive drug problems. Alcohol and prescription drugs were his thing, and it’s Elton John that helped him to sober up completely in 2008, helping him learn to live a healthier lifestyle. He has adopted his ex-wife’s daughter from another relationship, as well as her twin sister’s daughter and he has had custody of one of his younger brothers.
