Carson Daly Welcomes a Baby Girl

Congratulations are in order for Today Show and The Voice host, Carson Daly. He and his fiancé welcomed a baby girl into the world yesterday. London Rose Daly was born weighing 8 lbs. 11 oz. and measuring 22 inches. The little one is the third child for Daly and his fiancé, Siri Pinter. Daly announced the news of his daughter’s arrival via Twitter on Thursday morning. He also posted a sweet photograph of himself smiling and holding his little girl. His fiancé also issued a tweet that reads, “Thanks for all the love!”

Not too long after his daughter entered the world, Daly appeared via video feed on the Today Show. He announced the baby’s arrival and gave his viewers a little insight to her name and where it came from; and the fact that they weren’t even sure what her name would be until she was born.

“Baby and Siri are right here, they are doing very well. Rose was my grandma’s name…so we have a lot of family history in the names. Even when little London came out, we were still throwing out our last-minute short list, and London Rose Daly was the one,” he said of his family’s choice for using family names when choosing monikers for their little ones. London joins big sister Etta Jones, 2, and big brother Jackson James, 5.

Daly goes on to talk about the importance of family. “I’m a family man first and foremost. Everything I do in this business, it all pays off when I come home. For years my mom was like, ‘When are you going to have a kid?’ and now she’s like, ‘Slow down!’” he says of his mother’s desire to become a grandmother.

The little one is the second Today Show baby born in less than a week. It was just last week that Savannah Guthrie and her husband welcomed their own daughter into the world.
