Miley Cyrus Hospitalized for Severe Allergic Reaction, Cancels Show

Grand Opening Of Britney Spears' Show "Britney: Piece Of Me"

Miley Cyrus had to be taken to the hospital yesterday due to a severe allergic reaction. The issue was significant enough to cancel her Kansas City show last night. A source close to Cyrus revealed the controversial pop star had to cancel her show at the Sprint Center due to what they are calling “an absolutely horrible reaction” to medication.

Cyrus’ health is currently not known, but there is no indication that she is in any sort of danger. She did tweet to fans in Kansas City apologizing for not being able to make her show:

“Kansas I promise Im as [heartbroken] as you are. I wanted so badly 2 b there 2night.  Not being with yall makes me feel s–ttier than I already do.”

She followed up her tweet with a picture of her in a hospital bed saying she’s doing just fine. While Cyrus has been a figure of high controversy we are glad to hear that her hospitalization isn’t of a serious nature. The good news for fans is that Cyrus’ camp has said that she will reschedule her show. Those who bought tickets would be given automatic refunds.

This isn’t the first time Cyrus has had health issues on her tour. She suffered from the flu earlier in the year and had to cancel her concert in Charlotte, N.C.
