Tom Schwartz and His Memorable Vanderpump Rules Quotes

Tom Schwartz

Tom Schwartz has been part of Vanderpump Rules since the beginning. He’s been in the midst of drama-filled moments, he’s been the voice of reason, he’s been a friend, he’s been an enemy. He’s been the subject of tabloid fodder, of a serious relationship, and he’s been in more than a few arguments with his almost-newlywed wife in front of the camera than he’d probably like to admit, but he’s still sticking around and making the most of his life with his soon-to-be wife. Over the years, he’s made us laugh more often than not, so we thought we might go back and check out the moments in which he’s had the best things to say. We thought it might be even more fun to see if we can find the lesson in each line, too.

If I can set my hair straight, maybe I can set my life straight

You know, if you put your mind to it, you can do anything. We might not see this as anything that is really all that knowledgeable, but the man makes a good point. Hair is not always easy to set straight. If you can accomplish that, you can accomplish anything. We like that he sees that life goal in everything that he does.

We know that Lincoln was generous with his immediate staff – he gave them things

Yes, yes he did. We wonder, though, what did Lincoln give his immediate staff? Generosity might be in the eye of the beholder, but we feel that perhaps Tom Schwartz feels that anything given to him that he might not have worked for is called generosity. Let’s just go with that and take on this silver lining outlook. It makes us happy.

I wish I knew how to quit Jax Taylor

I’m sure that Tom Schwartz is not the only person who has this same wish. I am a little bit interested in knowing precisely how many of the people who think this, though, are other men. I know they have a bromance that goes back forever, but they do need to find some better friends; perhaps he should find a friend that doesn’t put him in the middle of his own drama and them leave him out to dry in life. It’s just a suggestion, really.

History’s there to interpret for hundreds of years down the road

I’m not sure where to start here, really. For one, I’m not entirely sure history is to interpret. I think it’s kind of just factual; in that it happened, this is how it happened and there is no way to interpret that into something that it is not. On that note, I also think that it’s there for far more than just hundreds of years. Of course, I’m not historian as I tend to interpret things incorrectly often, so perhaps I need more time to think this through.

I’m a mactor. That’s a model/actor

Actually, you’re kind of neither, right? Didn’t he model at some point in the distant past and has he ever acted, or is he a reality television star? This could go either way, but it’s nice that he has such a positive outlook on his current situation.
