Will Sarah Palin Take Over a Spot on the View?

Sarah Palin Addresses Conservative Political Action Conference In DC

As many of you know, hosts have been dropping left and right from The View. The female-centric talk show that focuses on politics and pop culture and what-not. This has left the door open for some new talent to come in, with many speculating on who that could be? You know the name some are dropping? Sarah Palin. I know, try to stifle your laughter here. The woman tends to talk herself in circles, so maybe it would work on format? In a recent interview with Hollywood Reporter, the outspoken Palin brought up her thoughts on what a show like The View might need:

“I hear everyone recently got canned from ‘The View,’ maybe a show like that needs a punch of reality and a voice of reason from America’s heartland to knock some humble sense into their scripts.”

We are pretty sure she was slipping that in as a plug for herself to be on the show. This was followed up with the question as to whether she would consider a stint in such a show, which was followed by a maybe. I think the reason it was a maybe and not a yes yet is because she wants to see what kind of negotiation she can work out. Don’t commit until you know what they’re willing to shell over. Sarah Palin would bring a big punch to that show, no doubt. Thing is, not everyone likes being punched.

Just gotta wait it out, I guess.
