Getting to Know the Cast of Botched

NBCUniversal Summer Press Day - Panels

When it comes to reality TV, Botched is definitely one of the most interesting and unique shows on the air. Similar to a real life version of the popular series, Nip/Tuck the show follows plastic surgeons, Terry Dubrow and Paul Nassif, as they attempt to “remedy extreme plastic surgeries gone wrong.” If you’ve ever seen the show, you know just how bad ‘botched’ plastic surgery can be. If you haven’t seen the show, you can probably imagine just how bad things can get. Seriously, everyone has seen a botched plastic surgery job that was so terrible it looked like there was no possible way to save it. Well, these two are definitely the men for the job. But while Nassif and Dubrow are both very talented surgeons, this show isn’t their first rodeo with the reality TV cameras. In fact, you’ve probably seen this two-man team somewhere else before. But what makes these two special enough to have their own show? You’re about to find out. Here is everything you need to know about the cast of Botched.

Dr. Terry Dubrow

Terry Dubrow Celebrating The Women Of EVINE Live

Terry Dubrow got his start while still a medical student at UCLA. Widely regarded as the best in the field, the average TV viewer probably knew him as a husband on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills long before they’d ever heard of his work. That’s right, Dubrow’s wife, Heather, is currently a cast member on RHOBH, and he’s also spent a considerable amount of time on the show. On RHOBH, Dubrow has proven time and time again that he isn’t afraid to express his opinion or step in when necessary, which has often caused him to end up in the middle of some drama. But while it’s easy to get caught up in the whole ‘famous for nothing’ reality TV loop, Dubrow has also used the platform to his advantage. Before both Botched and RHOBH, Dubrow also appeared on a plastic surgery themed reality show, The Swan, and on another show called Bridalplasty. However, even when he isn’t fixing botched plastic surgery jobs, Dr. Dubrow is a pretty interesting guy. His brother, Kevin Dubrow, was the lead singer for the metal band, Quiet Riot, and continue to sing with the group until his death in 2007. Dr. Dubrow is also a devoted family man. He and his wife met on a blind date and have been married for over a decade. They are also the proud parents of four children. But if all that isn’t enough to make you think that he’s got a pretty amazing life, he’s also got a net worth of $30 million.

Dr. Paul Nasiff

Paul Nassif at NBCUniversal's Summer Press Day - Arrivals

Dr. Nassif has been well-known in the plastic surgery field for years. Long before Botched he was getting recognized for his skill, and his “anti-gravity facelift.” However, like Dubrow, Botched certainly isn’t the first time most viewers have seen Nassif. Also appearing on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Nassif is the ex-husband of former cast member, Adrienne Maloof. However, unlike Dubrow, Nassif was not the breadwinner in his marriage Maloof, whose family owns and operates the billion dollar, Maloof Company, was a busy career oriented woman, and because of that, Nassif’s work was often overshadowed. However, on Botched, he has been allowed to shine like never before, and his work has proven to be very impressive. Nassif even plans to launch his own line of skin care products which will address “addresses the Bio-Rhythmic changes that our skin experiences during the day versus the night, while also rapidly counteracting the negative effects that lack of sleep and busy lifestyles have on our skin. While specifically designed for stressful lifestyles, this radical new skin care line is exceptional for all consumers and skin types.” However, when he’s not busy with Botched, Nassif is busy enjoying life, and is the proud father of three children.
