What do You Think Erica Mena Should Do Now?

Premiere Of Universal Pictures' "Furious 7" - Arrivals

Yesterday, Love & Hip Hop star, Erica Mena, announced that she will not return to the show after this season.  Mena, who began appearing on the show during season two, quickly became a regular cast member.  Her fearlessness and feisty attitude led to her becoming a fan favorite, and many were shocked and saddened when Mena took to Instagram to share the news.  In her post, she thanked her fans for supporting her along her journey, and also stated: “This chapter has ended but the real deal is the journey has just begun. Tonight is indeed my last show. Good luck to everyone. Wish you all the best…” Although the news comes as a surprise, Mena probably has something planned for her next move.  However, until she makes an official announcement, the public will be left to wonder.  Here are three things that Erica Mena should do now.

3. Look for some acting jobs.

Now that Erica Mena has established herself as a reality TV star, she may want to consider pursuing some scripted roles (although it’s debatable whether or not Love & Hip Hop is scripted).  With her knack for drama and her fearlessness in front of the camera, Erica Mena could be coming to a big screen near you.

2. Try to land a spin-off with Bow Wow.

It’s not uncommon for reality stars to leave one TV show in search of another.  Now that Mena is engaged to rapper turned actor, Bow Wow, the couple may want to consider coming up with an idea for a spin-off series which follows them and their relationship.

1. Spend more time with her son.

On several occasions while on Love & Hip Hop, Erica Mena expressed a desire to spend more time with her young son.  Unfortunately, her busy schedule often didn’t allow much time for family.  Many criticized Mena for leaving her son with her mother. However, when he appeared on an episode of Love & Hip Hop, it was clear that Mena would rather be spending time with him than arguing with people on camera. Hopefully now that she will no longer be filming for Love & Hip Hop, she will have more time to devote to being a dedicated and involved parent.
