10 Actresses Who Should Have Never Cut Their Hair Short

In the world of Hollywood, where people often judge you because of your looks, it’s important to stay on top of your game.  Nobody wants to be the person that everyone is talking about when it comes to a bad style choice, but sometimes people make mistakes – and it usually has something to do with their hair.  There’s nothing wrong with wanted to try new things with your hair, but in doing so, it’s important to remember that it might manage to come out the way you want or imagined.  Especially when it comes to short haircuts, because people are often under the impression that their cut will look exactly like the one inspired them. Unfortunately, that isn’t always the case. Here are 10 actresses who should have never cut their hair

Kate Gosselin

Kate Gosselin may be a reality TV star, but some would call her performance on the show nothing less than acting. Gosselin’s short haircut is almost as famous as she is, and unfortunately neither her or the haircut are known for being particularly nice.  When she first came on to the reality TV world, her hair got so much attention that a wig replicating the cut was turned into a Halloween costume.  Although many people would have been self-conscious, Gosselin simply thought that everyone loved her haircut so much that they wanted one just like it.

Michelle Williams

Michelle Williams is beautiful, and it’s not that she looks terrible with short hair, but it’s simply just not the best look for her. A cut this short gives her a sort of boyish look, but because her face is so pretty, she looks extremely young.  While looking younger is something that everyone appreciates once they get to a certain age, nobody wants to actually look like a kid.

Scarlett Johansson

Scarlett Johansson has experimented with the length of her hair a few times over the years.  However, a couple of years ago, when she popped up wearing what appeared to be some sort of mullet, everyone was surprised. Although she can usually pull off any look, the whole ‘party in the front, business in the back’ look just wasn’t good for Johannson.  This is a prime example of a haircut just being bad on top of it not being a good fit for the shape of her face.

Miley Cyrus

Some people are huge fans of Miley Cyrus’ short hair, while others are wondering why she ever cut it in the first place.  Either way, it was very surprising when she decided to cut off her long; beautiful locks. Miley is another celebrity who has experimented with hair length, and has even had a few different styled short haircuts over the year.  However, Miley’s face shape seems to be a little better suited for longer hair.

Celine Dion

Celine Dion may be better-known for her singing, but she’s also had a few acting roles over the years as well, and the camera seems to love her. You’re probably used to seeing  Celine Dion wearing much longer hair, and that’s because she’s definitely gravitated toward longer hairstyles throughout her career.  However, several years ago, she experimented with  few short hairstyles that just didn’t go over well.  According to Dion: “The craziest thing I’ve done is cut my hair blonde and short a couple of years ago. And people reached out to me saying, ‘Celine, you’re one of the most stable things we have in our lives. Don’t do that. We want you the way you are.”

Kelly Osbourne

Kelly Osbourne is known for being the type of person who does whatever she wants, without caring about what people around her think.  As a result, she’s done some pretty wild things appearance wise, and her hair is one of the things that’s always changing.  Kelly is always cutting and dying her hair, and it’s hard to keep track of whether or not she’s taking care of it.  Although she’s had more than a few short hairstyles over the years, some of them just didn’t work as well as others.

Katie Holmes has cut her hair a few times over the years, but fans always seem to prefer that she wear it long. At the 2015 Met Gala, Katie Holmes showed up rocking an entirely new look: a much shorter, bob style haircut – or so everyone thought.  People quickly began responding to the haircut with many people saying that they didn’t like it. However, just a few days later, Holmes appeared back with her long locks.

In 2014 when Kaley Cuoco cut her hair, she said was looking for a change. However,  probably wished it would grew back sooner. Fans didn’t even seem to like the cut

According to E! online: “Big Bang Theory’ [star] Kaley Cuoco on the list, but the pixie cut she got in June when her hit CBS show wrapped has definitely not been the most flattering look on the red carpet.”

Britney Spears

In 2007, Britney Spears didn’t just cut her hair short, but she got it cut ALL THE WAY! After shaving her head, there a pretty good chance that she regretted it almost right away.Although Britney wore her hair long for a while, after the incident. she continued to give some hairstyles – and hopefully – safer hotel options
