This feeling can be even more brutal for those who work in an industry where good looks are valued. For women in Hollywood, aging often means getting replaced by young new actresses. However, for many, getting older can come with more positives than negatives.  For these beautiful Hollywood stars, old age has done nothing but solidify the fact that they are here to stay.  Here are 10 actresses who have stayed gorgeous into their 60s.

Helen Mirren has had a career that’s lasted nearly five decades.  Over the course of her career, the Academy Award winning actress has starred in several successful films and television shows. Now 69 years-old, Mirren seems to have defied the rules of aging, and continues to work tirelessly to entertain her many fans throughout the world.

9. Lynn Whitfield

Actress Lynn Whitfield, well-known for her role in films such as Eve’s Bayou and Madea’s Family Reunion, is certainly wearing her age well.  Although it has been more than 30 years since her first on-screen appearance, Lynn Whitfield has remained beautiful and relatively wrinkle free.

With each passing decade, actress Alfre Woodard has managed to remain relevant.  At 62 years old, Woodard has appeared in dozens of films spanning over the course of nearly 40 years.  However, even with a slew of accolades and accomplishments, one of the most remarkable things about Woodard’s career has been her ever-present beauty.  During an interview with People Magazine in 1997, award-winning actor Danny Glover commented on Woodard’s looks stating: “She’s amazingly beautiful. I love her lips and those incredible cheekbones.” Although it has been more than 20 years since his statement was made, it is safe to say that it still holds true.

At 64 years-old, actress Jane Seymour looks almost exactly as she did when she made her acting debut in 1969.  Often hailed for her wholesome good looks, Jane Seymour’s beauty has managed to withstand the test of time.  One source, which commented on Seymour’s age defying appearance, stated: “Now she has two grandchildren ‘and another on the way’, and is on her fourth marriage. Yet in the flesh she’s not only annoyingly svelte, but truly beautiful. All the more so because she has — surprisingly, given the prevalence of Botox — proper wrinkles.”
