However, despite what many see as a negative public image, Rihanna continues to show the world that she couldn’t care less about what people think and have to say about her. She has an insurance policy on her legs
After Rihanna won the “Legs of Goddess” award, Rihanna had her legs insured for $1 million. Although getting insurance on a body part may seem like a strange practice to most people, Rihanna isn’t the first celebrity to do so. The legendary musician, Tina Turner, also has insurance on her legs – which have widely been considered one of her best features.
Rihanna isn’t her first name
Rihanna’s given name is actually Robyn Rihanna Fenty. However, Rihanna certainly has a little more star power than Robyn, so it’s pretty clear why she made the choice to put her first name on the back burner and go with Rihanna. At this point, it’s actually pretty hard to imagine her without the name Rihanna, although those closest to her still refer to her as Robyn.
She didn’t finish high school
It’s not uncommon for celebrities to take a non traditional path when completing school. After all, busy schedules make it nearly impossible to attend school in a classroom every day during the week. With that being said, Rihanna stopped attending school at 15, and hasn’t been back since. There’s no word on whether or not she will go back and finish her high school education, but chances are she’s not even thinking about that right now.
She has witnessed an exorcism
When most people hear of things like exorcisms, they automatically have doubts. With all of the stories and rumors associated with exorcisms, many people have a difficult time with what to believe and what to disregard. But according to Rihanna, she’s seen it all. During an interview, Rihanna shared that she had been a witness to an exorcism in her home country of Barbados. According to RiRi, “They were praying around this table. We were young though, and one of the girls, she got up and she just started screaming. I remember they locked us in the bedroom because they didn’t want kids to see that. Every time they prayed she would start screaming in the weirdest voice.”
She’s in ambassador in Barbados
Rihanna may not seem like the type to be interested in politics and government in any way shape or form, and while she definitely won’t be running for any sort of political office any time soon, she definitely has a bit of an inside scoop. In 2012, Rihanna signed a three-year deal to be the Ambassador of Youth and Culture in Barbados. In her role, Rihanna will be responsible for bringing more tourists to the country.
She has her own holiday
Rihanna definitely gets a lot of love from the people of her home country, and Rihanna is extremely proud to be from where she’s from. In Feburary 2008, Barbados decided to honor Rihanna in one of the most awesome ways ever by declaring February 22 as “Rihanna Day.”
She’s turned down offers to pose for Playboy
If you follow Rihanna on any social media platforms, you’ll know that she definitely isn’t afraid to post provocative pictures on her account. With that being said; however, it may come as a surprise to know that even Rihanna has a line that she isn’t willing to cross. Apparently, Rihanna has turned Playboy down on several occasions, and doesn’t seem to admit it one bit.
She loves junk food
Rihanna’s body is certainly one of the best in the business. By the look of things, you would think that she spends hours thinking about what she’s going to eat and how many calories she needs to burn during a workout. However, she had admitted to being obsessed with junk food, something you don’t hear to often from people who are trying to stay fit.
