2. Kanye West is a philanthropist.

Kanye West doesn’t always use his powers for evil.  In 2005, after the death of his mother, West founded the Dr. Donda West foundation, which focuses on helping inner city youth gain access to music education. According to West: “During my high school years, it’s the music that I really felt saved me. It kept me out of the streets, it kept me from getting into trouble, it gave me something to do when I got kicked off the basketball team. You just get lost in the music. That’s what I did.” West has also supported numerous causes including adoption and disaster relief.
