Lea Michele Announces She’s in Love More than a Year after Cory Monteith’s Death
In July 2013, Lea Michele’s world turned upside down. The Glee actress’ long time boyfriend lost his life after overdosing, and the news struck the star very hard. The star was notably absent from the spotlight for months, and has only just begun to make her way back out into the public this year. Understandably so, the past year has been very difficult on the young actress. However, things seems to be looking up for the singer and television star, and she’s finally taken to the internet to show the world that she’s back, better than ever and that she’s found love once again.
Michele has been spotted around Hollywood and a few other worldly locations over the past few months holding hands with a guy she met on the set of one of her music videos. She has not addressed the rumors that the two are dating, though they’re often caught holding hands. Matthew Paetz and Lea Michele met on the set of one of her music videos, and have reportedly been dating for several months. The two also reportedly moved in together over the summer, though no one has actually confirmed this as truth or fiction.
Over the weekend, however, the star finally publicly admitted she’s in a new relationship and that she is in love, which is nice to hear after the horrible tragedy she suffered at such a young age. The star posted a photo to her Instagram account of herself and her new boyfriend holding hands, except the photo is only the shadows of the couple. Along with the photo, she posted a caption.
“To love and be loved is to feel the sun from both sides,” she wrote. The couple has only been together since June – that the public knows of, but they seem very happy and it’s a nice change to see the Glee star’s life looking up for a change.
