Celebrities Who Married Secretly
The majority of people want the world to know about their wedding day. They would shout it from the roof tops if they could. But celebrities are not the majority or normal people and many choose to marry without anyone, other than guests knowing in advance. Some have chosen not even to tell their guests that they’re attending a wedding and even surprise the attendees by getting hitched! Getting married in secret is a popular celebrity trend.
Most recently, prestigious actor Jeremy Renner surprised the world by getting hitched in secret. The Avengers star secretly tied the knot with girlfriend Sonni Pacheco. The private actor confirmed the news himself speaking with Capitol File, referring to Pachecho as his “wife.” “I have tried to protect my family’s privacy, my wife’s privacy. I don’t need her to get hammered with my life,” Renner said. Asked if he is in fact married, Renner replied, “Yes.”
In January 2013, it was revealed that the couple are expecting a child together. The first-time parents welcomed their little one in March 2013.
The following stars also said “I do,” while keeping the paparazzi and the rest of the world in the dark.
Kerry Washington and Nnamdi Asomugha
The Scandal actress married the San Francisco 49ers cornerback on June 2, 2013. A Blaine County, Idaho marriage license filing gave away the actress’ secret wedding to the football player.
