Five Celebrities That Have Been Burned….Literally

Tori Spelling Celebrates The Release Of Her New Book "Mommywood"

From an early age, most people learn that playing with fire generally leads to bad things.  Sure, fire and the heat it produces can be great, but they can also cause a lot of pain and suffering. Although celebrities have access to a lot of things that the average person doesn’t, all the money in the world can’t promise safety.  Unfortunately, many celebrities have learned this the hard way after being involved in an accident that, in some way, has changed their lives forever.  While there are a lot of ways for celebrities to get ‘burned,’ actually getting burned may be the worst of them all.  Here are five celebrities that have been burned…literally.

1. Tori Spelling

Things just haven’t been going grey for Tori Spelling lately.  First, her marriage began falling apart, and now this.  According to recent reports, Spelling was hospitalized after tripping and falling onto a hibachi grill at a Benihana Restaurant. Her husband, Dean McDermott, confirmed that Spelling had received burns on her arm.

When actress Parminder Nagra was just seven years-old, she suffered  a severe burn from cooking.  Although Nagra has a scar from the incident, it has not seemed to hurt her career.  In fact, Gurrinder Chada, writer for Bend it like Beckham,  even wrote the scar into the script of the film The Next Man.
