Five Popular Reality TV Star Apps

Kim Kardashian Celebrates The Launch Of Her New Fragrance "Fleur Fatale"

Over the last several years, mobile applications have become increasingly popular.  These apps, which can be downloaded to phones, tablets, and computers, allow users endless possibilities when it comes to using their devices.  As a result, many people and companies have started designing apps as a way to reach a larger audience.  Even celebrities have gotten in on this, and apps created and sponsored by stars are among the most popular.  Realty TV stars; however, have the best of both world, and their apps have helped to strengthen their brands and increase their popularity.  While there are millions of apps to choose from, here are five popular reality TV star apps.

 5.  Pauly D – Beat That Boardwalk

Although Pauly D is best-known for being a cast member on MTV’s Jersey Shore, he is also a well-respected DJ.  His app, “Beat That Boardwalk”, is available for both iPhone and Android users, and allows players to walk around the Boardwalk collecting points for completing various goals.

4. Nicole Richie – Style Tag

During the early, 2000s, Nicole Richie was one of the most popular reality TV stars of the time.  Now, more than a decade later, Richie has been able to maintain her relevance by re-branding herself.  In 2013, Richie launched the “Style Tag” app which allows user to create and share styles with a community of fellow fashion lovers.

3.  Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi – Snookify Me

In 2009, Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi rose to fame as a cast member on MTV’s Jersey Shore.  Since then, Snooki’s popularity has continued to grow. In 2011, Snooki launched her own mobile app, “Snookify Me,” which allows her fans to upload pictures of themselves and then add Snooki-like touches.

2. RuPaul – Dragopolis

RuPaul’s Drag Race is currently one of the most popular shows on TV. RuPaul’s mobile app, “Dragopolis,” allows fans to bring the best of the show right to the palms of their hands.  People who have used the app have described it as both “addicting” and “awesome.”

1. Kim Kardashian – Kim Kardashian: Hollywood

Kim Kardashian seems to be doing a little bit of everything, so it should come as no surprise that she has recently announced a mobile app. “Kim Kardashian: Hollywood” allows fans to spend a (virtual) day in the life of Kardashian, and join her at a variety of top-notch events.  According to reports, the app brought in more than $40 million dollars in just three months. In March 2015, Kardashian even announced that she will be launching  a “Meet Kim” contest through her app.
