Why You Should Follow Rob Lowe on Twitter if You Aren’t Already
Rob Lowe, 50, is one of the most recognizable actors in Hollywood. He’s been in the business since 1979, but he didn’t get his big break acting until 1983 when he was nominated for a Golden Globe for his role in Thursday’s Child – a television film. The year proved to be a good one for the then 20-something actor when he was cast in The Outsiders, a film by Francis Ford Coppola alongside Emilio Estevez, with whom Lowe would later star in St. Elmo’s Fire.
From that point forward, he became one of the most famous actors in the business. One of his most memorable roles was in The West Wing, which was a role he chose because Marin Sheen was also cast in the series, and the two had a longstanding relationship at the time. Over the years, the strength of other characters on the show overrode his own character, and he left the series after many altercations with the men behind the camera, as well as NBC. He was still an in-demand actor at the time, and he even passed up the chance to play the role of McDreamy on the hit show Grey’s Anatomy, which has been portrayed by Patrick Dempsey for the past decade.
Rob Lowe might not be one of the younger men in Hollywood, but he’s not behind when it comes to technology. In fact, Rob Lowe’s twitter page is one that is always hot, always relevant and always interesting; and we have just a few reasons you should follow him now.
