What Happens When You Read Between the Lines of Renee Zellweger’s Plastic Surgery Address?

Renee Zellweger

She made her mark as one of the greatest actresses of this generation in Jerry McGuire and she continued to wow audiences with her role as Bridget Jones, but Renee Zellweger has made more headlines this year for her changing face than she has anything she’s ever done, and that includes her short and fast marriage to country superstar Kenny Chesney. You’ve heard the rumors that the star looks a little, well, different. In fact, she suddenly looks nothing like Renee Zellweger. In fact, she’s been out of the spotlight for a while now, and it’s probably because she was actually out and about like usual but no one recognized her. Case in point: This is what she used to look like:

She denies that she’s had plastic surgery, but she’s not fooling anyone. She does look amazing, and she credits that to a healthier, happier lifestyle and she is quoted as saying that she is glad people think she looks different. Now, if we read between those lines, we get something else entirely out of this. First and foremost, Renee Zellweger never actually denies plastic surgery rumors.

“I’m glad folks think I look different! I’m living a different, happy, more fulfilling life and I’m thrilled that perhaps it shows,” she says in response to the rumors.

Let’s read between the lines: We’ve already discussed the lack of denial. And then she says she’s glad people think she looks different. If you paid what I’m sure plastic surgeons charge to have as much work done as it appears she’s had done, you’d be glad people noticed the difference, too. You don’t pay that kind of money for work just so that people look at you like nothing has changed.

Finally, she says she’s living a happier and more fulfilling life. That will make a difference in how you look, but won’t change the shape of your face, eyes, lips and cheekbones. So between the lines we see this, “I now feel younger and that makes me feel happy, and so I’m now fulfilled,” as what she was really trying to say.

She’ll probably never confirm, but many plastic surgeons have offered their opinions on what she’s had done. Some might be right; some might be off. However, they’re the experts, and we think that the truth lies in what she didn’t say.
