Imagining Ten Celebrities Who Are Really Disney Legends

disney11

You might not be aware of this but photo legend Annie Leibovitz did an amazing shoot years back that reimagined celebrities as some of your favorite Disney legends.  Personally I think the one of Rachel Weisz as Snow White is absolutely perfect.  However, can you even imagine if King Arthur were really Roger Federer?  What about Jessica Biel playing Pocahontas?  And while Robin Williams can never be replaced as the genie, it’s kind of funny to imaging it as Whoopie Goldberg.

In any event, here are some of your favorite celebrities as Disney Legends

Cinderella – Scarlett Johansson

disney5

I could easily see Scarlett playing this roll about 10 years ago.

Prince Phillip – David Beckham

disney6

Honestly could there be anyone else?  No way.

Alice – Beyonce, Mad Hatter – Oliver Platt, March Hare – Lyle Lovett

disney7

Platt is absolutely perfect here.  Beyonce doesn’t fit at all.  Still though, I’d love to see her climb down the rabbit hole.

King Arthur – Roger Federer

disney8

Best ever?  Best ever.

Snow White – Rachel Weisz

disney9

The perfect snow white.  Weisz has that great look about her.  Sweet, innocent, but also sexy.

Blue Fairy – Julie Andrews, Apprentice – Abigail Breslin

disney10

This is back when Breslin was just a kid.  Andrews should always play some kind of fairy Godmother.  Her face reminds people of what every mother is supposed to look like.

Pocahontas – Jessica Biel

disney1

I think in present day Jessica Alba would be a perfect fit.

Wendy – Gisele Bundchen, Peter Pan -Mikhail Baryshnikov, Tinker Bell – Tina Fey

disney2

This is so random!  But it works doesn’t it?

Jasmine – Jennifer Lopez, Aladdin – Marc Anthony

disney3

Why these two were ever married is still a mystery to me.  Thank God they’re not anymore.

The Genie – Whoopi Goldberg

disney4

While no one can ever replace Robin Williams, might as well use Whoopie Goldberg who performed with him so many times.
