For two decades, actress Kerry Washington has been lighting up big and small screens with her outstanding acting skills.  However, it wasn’t until her most recent role as Scandal’s leading lady, Olivia Pope, that Washington became a household name.  When ABC’s now hit series, Scandal, hit the airwaves in 2012, Washington’s character quickly became popular among viewers.  Olivia Pope, the savvy crisis manager who can fix anything (except her affair with the POTUS), has captured the attention of a very large audience.  Kerry Washington and Scandal have become so popular that people are now more thankful for Thursdays than ever.

For her role in the show, Washington was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award, and the possibilities seem endless as the show continues to become a fixture in pop-culture.  However, even with her increasingly busy schedule Washington has continued to make time to acknowledge her fans.  With nearly two million Twitter followers, few would expect Washington to have time to read the endless number of tweets she receives; however, The “Scandal” star actively uses Twitter to communicate with her fans.  Here are Kerry Washington’s best twitter responses.
