Is Charlie Sheen’s Career in Movies Over?
If I used the name Carlos Irwin Estevez to describe someone to you, would you know about whom I am speaking? Diehard fans might know that this is the real name of Charlie Sheen, but he didn’t feel the name was “winning” enough so he decided to begin his career using his stage name, Charlie Sheen (see what I did there? Pun intended). He’s been in the business for more than 40 years and he’s never been one who hasn’t been in the midst of controversy at every possible moment. He’s an actor who is good at what he does, but he’s a person with a lot of personal issues. We love Charlie Sheen, and we think that what he does in front of the camera is magic, but we do feel that many of his life decisions were made based on unfortunate occurrences and likely under the influence of things better left unused.
Since he began his career in 1973, he’s been in more than 77 movies and films and he’s starred or guest –starred on dozens of television shows. Sheen’s career has been quite impressive. However, it was Charlie Sheen’s movies from his early days in the acting business that were his best ones. It was after he began marrying, having children and starring in more recent television shows that his personal issues became even more prominent and that his life began spiraling out of control. While he’s been able to keep himself a bit more private and out of the spotlight since his infamous meltdown a few years ago, he’s still someone the world looks at in a different light, and there is no denying the fact that Sheen’s movie career is likely as over as it gets in the industry. His new reputation as being difficult to work with and troublesome on set has caught up to him, and we have to say we are a bit sorry to hear he’s made such a mess of his life.
