Lindsay Lohan’s Father Remarries, Doesn’t Invite Kids to Wedding

Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan and her parents certainly don’t have a traditional relationship. The former child star turned troubled adult and her parents have a relationship that most would describe as unhealthy. Her parents were divorced years ago amid fights and tabloid fodder of inappropriate behavior. Her mother spends more time partying and drinking with her daughter, who has been in and out of rehab on multiple occasions, than she does actually parenting. Her father is either criticizing his family in the press or he’s in trouble with the law.

Now it seems that the Lohan family is enduring even more drama (creating even more drama?) within the walls of their family. Michael Lohan, father of Lindsay, has gotten married. He reportedly married his longtime girlfriend, Kate Major, on October 30th in Florida, and no one in the family knew about his nuptials. Read: His children were not invited to his wedding.

When the media reached out to Lohan to find out why he wed without inviting his children to his wedding, he reportedly announced that it was a bit of a last minute decision that was planned and executed because his girlfriend is currently pregnant with their second child together, and they wanted to be married before the baby was born. Apparently that wasn’t a priority when their first child together was born.

The good news in the entire situation is that there might not really be any family drama after all, and the Lohans’ certainly won’t spend the holiday week passive aggressively arguing with one another around the Thanksgiving table. Lindsay, reportedly, doesn’t care that her father was remarried almost a month ago, and she certainly doesn’t care that she was accidentally left off the guest list for her father’s wedding. The only thing we don’t know for certain is how she feels about becoming a big sister – again.
