Miley Cyrus Wants Fans to Know She’s Kind
What would Miley Cyrus be doing with her life if she wasn’t a famous Disney star turned controversial pop singer? She’d be a comedian. In fact, she is fine with the fact that she’s a joke, and she admits during an interview with an Australian morning show that she enjoys the fact that people think of her, talk about her and keep her in the spotlight simply because they are making fun of her.
“If I wasn’t here, I would like to be doing maybe some sort of stand-up comedy. I am the joke. Look at me. I’m a walking joke,” she said of herself when asked why it is she loves to interact with her fans so much. She’s been made fun of for her clothes, her tongue and her hair, and she chooses to look at it as though people are laughing at her for a reason that has nothing to do with who she is and just how she chooses to dress.
While Cyrus doesn’t care what you say about her or think of her, she does want it to be made clear that she is not a mean person. She wants people to know that no matter how they see her as a public figure, she is and always has been a kind person, and that will not change.
“It’s just always been about the way you treat people…there’s many girls that I know that are in this industry that come out and sit like this and they’ll be all polite but in person they’re not so polite, and they’re not so kind. And I’ve heard that my reputation is a good one. I say hello to everybody and I treat everybody the same.” She goes on to say, “So anytime anyone thinks I’m crazy, it’s like, I’d rather be crazy than not a nice person.”
