However, when people become young adults, their relationship with their mothers takes yet another turn, and a friendship begins to form. Christie Brinkley rose to fame during the 70s when she began her career as a model. She appeared in several popular magazines, including being featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s well-known swimsuit edition. As her modeling career took off, she was also able to successfully transition into a career as an actress. Now with nearly four decades of work under her belt, Brinkley remains one of the most well-known names and faces in the industry. But while most stars her age are, well, aging, 61-year-old Brinkley is looking incredible.
