Rita Ora Posts Fun Tweets All The Time And you Should Be Reading Them

Rita Ora

She’s one of the newest coaches on the UK version of “The Voice” and she’s a hit singer who wowed American audiences when she appeared in the song “Black Widow” by Iggy Azalea, and Rita Ora has been making a huge splash across the world. Since the release of her first album in the UK several years ago, she has been blowing audiences away with her immense talent and her ability to entertain. She’s becoming even more famous in America since her duet with Azalea, and it seems that she’s just getting started. Rita Ora has been documenting her day to day life on Twitter, informing her fans where she is, what she’s been doing and how she’s enjoying her life, and we love that she’s taking the time to do just that. She’s not your typical young 20-something tweeting about silly things; she’s all about that business. She knows she has to work it if she wants her career to take off even further than it has already, and she’s not afraid of the hard work involved in making just that happen.

But that does not mean that Ora’s twitter page isn’t filled with tweets that do remind us she is still young and fun. She’s not above the fray when it comes to the lingo, the sayings and the ‘cool’ tone that many young people use these days. Here are a few of our favorite Rita Ora tweets that use modern slang most of us ‘old’ people don’t get.

Call us ‘old’ but we just realized that Yaaasss is actually a slang phrase that young people are now using all over the place. We seriously had no idea that this was what life was all about, but apparently it’s just another way of saying ‘yes’ but with more enthusiasm and less appropriate spelling.

Aww, now that’s a young-ish phrase we just can’t get enough of since too many girls no longer call their mom mommy; it’s a sad day.

Aren’t we all waiting, really?
