Being married to a celebrity can often lead to the less famous spouse having living in the background. However, Jillian Fink, who married actor Patrick Dempsey in 1999, has done a great job of maintaining her sense of self while standing by her famous man.  Fink, who has a career of her own, has made a name for herself among some of Hollywood’s biggest stars.  As a proud mother, Fink has also focused a lot of her attention on raising her three children.  However, even with a successful career of her own, Fink has been far from a household name.  Unfortunately, recent personal events (pending divorce) have thrust Fink straight into many celebrity news headlines, causing many fans to want to know more about Mrs. McDreamy.  Although we will likely be seeing much more of her in the months to come; here are three things you didn’t know about Jillian Fink.

3. Jillian Fink is a makeup artist.

Jillian Fink is a well-known makeup artist who has worked with stars on several films including Nosebleed and Love Is Like That.  According to her website, Jillian is Jillian “is best known for her ability to beautify young Hollywood for their most important red carpet appearances.”

2. Jillian Fink’s Instagram is full of awesome posts.

Jillian Fink currently has more than 45,000 followers on Instagram and her account is filled with some real gems.  Aside from the usual selfies and photos of her makeup work, Fink also has some great posts of her children and their artwork.

1. Jillian Fink filed for divorce from her husband, Patrick Dempsey.

After nearly 16 years of marriage to Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey, Jillian Fink has decided to call it quits.  The couple issued an exclusive statement to People Magazine which confirmed their divorce and stated: “It is with careful consideration and mutual respect that we have decided to end our marriage. Our primary concern remains the well-being of our children, and we ask with profound gratitude that you respect our family’s privacy at this very sensitive time.”
