He spent five years with Rachael Speed until 2009. They have one son together. He then began dating Charlotte Riley in 2010. They wed in 2014 and now they have a child together as of October 2015. He suffered for many years from an addiction to cocaine and alcohol, but he has worked on that and is rumored to be clean for many years now.
He is big into philanthropy with his wife, and they support some very large charities such as the Prince’s Trust as well as the Bowel Cancer UK program. He mentors and he helps to do what he can to make the world a better place. He loves tattoos and continues to have them put on his body, and he has no worry that they might eventually cost him a role if the right one comes along.
