Is Zayn Malik Using Twitter to Help us Get to Know Him?

He’s the member of One Direction who is famous for quitting the band’s tour, melting girls’ hearts and being pretty much a sensation. Zayn Malik, the 22-year-old singer, is part of a very diverse family of English and Pakistani heritage, though he did grow up in the United Kingdom. His rise to fame has been crazy in the past four years, and most people don’t believe how he became so famous. The young boy – at the time – auditioned for the UK edition of The X Factor, which was judged by both Simon Cowell and Pussy Cat Doll Nicole Scherzinger. He didn’t make it to the end of the competition, but upon his elimination he was put together with a group of other boys around his age to perform as a group for the duration of taping. The group One Direction was miraculously formed, even though the boys only made it to third place. Simon Cowell recognized the talent possessed by this group of young men and signed them to his label on 2011. The rest, as they say, is history. His whole career is so group-minded that we began wondering if Zayn Malik is a bit more individual on his Twitter page.

We don’t know what he’s talking about, but he certainly does sound a bit like he loves the people that also love him, and that’s kind of awesome.

We don’t think he’s singing to us and even if singing is what he is doing, we don’t think he could ever take these lyrics and make them sound as poetic and lovely as Frank Sinatra. Sorry, 1D, but you’re just not there.
