10 Female Celebrities That Need New Hairstyles

With a hair appointment of my own this week, I’m thinking a lot about hair lately. I find myself perusing hairstyles of celebs on Pinterest and pinning the cuts I’m in love with to a vanity board I can show my longtime stylist. See, the problem is that with long hair, I feel I should cut it. But every time I do the angled bob, I love it, but I realize that I need long hair so I don’t have to style it every single day. Additionally, I recently went really blonde. And as a natural brunette, that was a big change for me. But with ample gray hair at 31 (thanks, mom, for going gray at 18 and passing that on to me…but really, thanks for the other amazing genes you also gave me!), going blonde is the only way for me to hide that stuff. With a big change in my life already this year, should I do something drastic as far as my cut is concerned?

I don’t know, and this is not about me. What this is about is the fact that going through celebrity hair has made me realize that some female celebs are in desperate need of a change. I love them just the way they are, but sometimes we need to get out of the rut we are in and make a change. It’s liberating. Some of these women have had the same hair for so many years we’ve lost count, and while we think they are absolutely gorgeous as they already are, we would love to see them change it up just once. Find out which celebs I think are in need of something a little different.

Carrie Underwood

She’s had the same long blonde hair for the past decade, and it’s time to change that up a bit. How about something shorter, shaggier and a lot more fun? She’d be stunning with a slightly sexier cut that would bring out her flirty side and her lovely features. I think it’s time to go for this cut, Carrie.

Nicole Richie

I love her, and I think he’s lovely and always looks so put together – well, since she stopped hanging with Paris. But I have to say that the colored hair is not something that I love. I wish she’d go back to having her lovely blonde hair, cut it short into a pixie and make it happen. She’s so petite and pretty that I think this is a look that would really work well for her.

Rachel Zoe

With her long hair, she has always looked the same. Like Nicole Richie, she’s so petite and adorable that she could pull off a very Halley Berry-esque pixie. I’d love to see her give it a try. There is a chance it might soften her severe bone structure and perhaps take a few years off.

Jennifer Aniston

Long, straight and always in her face, I think that Jennifer Aniston ahs beautiful hair. I’m not crazy about it always being in her face, but that’s the mom in me that wants to pull it back and clear her vision. She has lovely hair, but I’d love to see her with a long, angled bob that brings out her eyes. A few additional brighter blonde highlights might be fun, too.

Kyle Richards

The Real Housewife of Beverly Hills and auntie to Paris Hilton is in need of a major hair makeover. We’re not hating on her gorgeous mane – at all – but it’s been the same for as long as we can remember. We aren’t saying she should do anything too drastic. She has such gorgeous hair. But we do think that something a little shorter and a little less heavy would do wonders for her. She’s such a gorgeous woman that the right cut would really make her look even more amazing.

Katie Holmes

We adore Katie and her lovely hair, and we don’t want her to do anything drastic. However, we’d love to see her do something a little different. There was a time a few years ago when she cut her hair short, styled longer in the front and shorter in the back just above her chin. We love that look for her and wish so much she’d go back to it for the time being.

Angelina Jolie

Her hair has been the same as long as we can remember and while it’s gorgeous, it’s time for a change. I’d love to see her with something a little shorter, layered and a bit younger. I think it would really soften her bone structure and make her look a bit softer and lovelier than she already is.

Courtney Cox

Monica, Monica, Monica; you’ve had so many hair styles in the past and you always manage to look amazing. On that note, our favorite is your short hair and we want you to bring it back with a vengeance. It’s our all time favorite Courtney Cox look, no matter how good you look with other hair styles. Actually, we kind of hate you and your gorgeous hair. You have one of those faces that can pull anything off as far as hair is concerned, and it’s one of those traits that makes it impossible for us not to envy you.

Portia de Rossi

Let’s not get me wrong; she’s rocking the pixie. But I love her with a drastic angled bob. Perhaps the kind that’s longer on one side than the other. She’s got the most gorgeous bones, and I think she could pull this off like no one else in the world. Let’s see it!

Demi Moore

She’s gorgeous, and she has not aged in at least a decade. Or her entire life, really. But as much as we love her and as gorgeous as she is, she’s got to change her hair. She has gorgeous locks, but the cut is too young for her, and we’d love to see her with something a little shorter and little more polished. We’d also like to ditch that center part for something a little more fun and adventurous – and something less in the center like my kids rock.
