6. Kanye West isn’t afraid to be himself.

Before debuting as a solo artist, Kanye West also received criticism in the hip-hop industry for his style of dress.  At the time of his debut, the style of dress within the hip-hop industry did not mesh well with West’s preppy pink polos.  However, despite what a hater has to say, West has remained true to himself, and in the process, he has inspired others to do the same.
