10 Things You Didn’t Know about Carole Radziwill
One of our all-time favorite real housewives is the amazing Carole Radziwill from New York City. Say what you will about the gorgeous Carole, but we adore her (and not just because she’s liked one of my Instagram photos from my husband and I’s trip to NYC Fashion Week last year). She’s strong, she’s not afraid to say what’s on her mind, and she’s been through enough in life to make us realize she is a force with which to be reckoned. She’s worked hard to get where she is in life. She began her career as a postproduction intern for ABC News in the late-80s and she worked her way up from the bottom.
She became a news rock star and began to work with Peter Jennings on some of his documentaries in that area of the news. She spent time in the world’s most dangerous places such as war-torn countries and in the midst of danger every waking moment. In 1994, she met and married her husband, Anthony Radziwill. He came from a slightly famous family called the Kennedys. He is the son of Lee Bouvier, sister to Jackie O., and prince Prince Stanislas Radziwll of Poland. They were married for five happy years before he passed away from a 5-year battle with cancer.
It was a terrible time for Carole Radziwill, and she will never forget that time in her life. She worked hard to get her life back in order and make a life for herself after losing the love her life, and she’s done a good job of it. However, there are so many things about Carole Radziwill we don’t know but would love to find out.
She met her husband over murder
Yes, that’s right. We like to think that they met in some sort of exceptionally romantic manner (he is a prince!) but they were both assigned to work a case about a set of brothers that murdered their parents in Beverly Hills in the late 80s. I guess that makes it love at first…murder?
She’s naturally thin
If you did not already hate Carole Radziwill for being intelligent, talented, strong and gorgeous, you’re going to hate her now without question. She doesn’t need to work out to maintain her slender physique. She’s said in the past she is naturally thin and she loves that. There’s nothing wrong with that, to be quite honest.
She wasn’t always fabulous
We actually beg to differ; we think she probably was always fabulous. However, she was not always famous or wealthy. She grew up just like you and I, joining Girl Scouts and taking gymnastics lessons. Her parents were good to her, working two jobs to make sure that their family had all that they needed.
She loves to speed
Like most of us who have a car and like to get where we are going, Carole Radziwill loves a fast car. She has a love for speed, and she is not ashamed to admit that. She has some fast cars of her own, but she also has admitted that she once got pulled over for exceeding 100 miles per hour when she was driving on the Long Island Expressway. Our only question is how much was that ticket, did she get out of it and where on that busy road was she able to reach that speed? Maybe that’s more than one question.
She’s a New Yorker
The good thing about Carole Radziwill is that she’s not a transplant. She is a native New Yorker from the time she was born until the day she decided to become a housewife. So many of the other wives in this series are from other locations, but she’s a real NYC girl all the way.
She’s got an MBA
So many people assume that wealthy woman with wealthy husbands are not educated. Perhaps they might assume that they attended some college – at best – as a way of obtaining the degree they really wanted (The MRS.). Carole Radziwill is not one of those women. She graduated from NYU with an MBA.
She’s dated some famous men
She might have been married to real royalty, but she also dated some American royalty. We aren’t saying that we have any way of proving that it’s true, but we also have no way of proving that it’s not unless one Mr. George Clooney would like to stand up and state for the record that he did or did not date Carole Radziwill. Being a serial dater in the past, though, we assume he probably did. She once tweeted that she does not kiss and tell but that, “if I did tell I’d say Clooney was a very good kisser.”
She’s kind-of-royal
We know that she was married to the son of a prince, and that she married into the Bouvier/Kennedy clan. Does that make her a princess? Does that make her more royal than the Countess? We actually have no idea how that works, but we think that the Countess probably hates that there is a potential princess in her circle taking over her royal crown.
She has a baby with RHOC star Meghan Edmonds’ brother
Just kidding, sort of. She has a baby pup with the star’s brother. They are raising a dog together. the puppy is adorable, and they named the dog Baby. Why they are raising a dog together is less important than the fact that they are, and we do love that to pieces.
She’s been working since she was a girl
Never afraid of hard work, Carole Radziwill is a perfect example of what it’s like to grow up and learn to live life the correct way. She’s always had a job since she was old enough to apply for one. She babysat, she worked in department stores, she served fast food and she had many other jobs. She always wanted to make it in NYC, and she did. Her parents did a pretty good job with their lessons in life.
