10 Things You Didn’t Know about Kaitlynn Carter
Perhaps you’ve heard of Kaitlynn Carter, and perhaps you have not. She’s a slight bit famous in that she’s the woman who is newly engaged to one of Caitlyn Jenner’s, formerly Bruce Jenner of Olympic Gold Medal fame, sons. She’s the new fiancée of Brody Jenner, former reality television star and famous Hollywood playboy who loves to date, see the ladies and mingle. He hasn’t the best reputation for being a good boyfriend, or even a faithful one, but this is one couple who has been together for some time now. That means that they must be pretty happy, since they’ve stuck it out and now they are getting married.
Now that she’s about to become the second most famous Kaitlynn Jenner, we thought we might get to know a bit more about Kaitlynn Carter before she and her future mother/father-in-law share a name. We found more about this young lady than you probably ever needed to know; here you go.
She wasn’t invited to Kim Kardashian’s wedding
If you are wondering why Brody Jenner decided he was not going to go watch his stepsister Kim Kardashian get married – again – to Kanye West, it’s because she would not allow him to bring a plus one. He’d been dating Kaitlynn for a few weeks when this happened, and he skipped because of it. Or maybe that’s his official story; who wants to go anywhere with Kanye West?
She’s not the jealous type
About a year ago, Brody Jenner told the press that he and Kaitlynn Carter have the best intimate life and that he is quite happy with their bedroom antics. He then went on to say that they occasionally invite someone else to the party with them just to keep things interesting. That’s so much more than we needed to know; but at least we know she’s not the jealous type.
She’s brave
It takes a strong woman to move away from her friends and family and start a new life, but that’s what she did in 2009. In fact, Kaitlynn Carter didn’t just move away from her friends and family; she moved to Italy. She didn’t speak the language, she had nothing there for her at the time, but she went and she decided that it was something she simply had to do for herself. She is so glad she did, and she even decided that she loved it enough to spend four years living there. That is actually very bold.
She’s a famous man serial-dater
Well, we can’t say she’s a serial dater of the rich and famous, but she was dating another famous man for a while before she met Brody Jenner. She dated actor David Spade for a time, and we are a little bit confused about that one. Not only is there a huge age difference, but there is a huge list of other amazingly big differences. I mean, really big differences.
She went to Reggie Bush’s wedding
Remember a few years ago when Kim K. and Reggie Bush were the hottest couple in the world and everyone assumed they’d end up together? They did not. And when Brody Jenner was invited to Reggie’s wedding, they went. Since she wasn’t invited to her future sister-in-law’s wedding, it was a slap in the face.
She models
At one point in her life, Kaitlynn Carter was a model. Well, we aren’t sure if she actually modeled or what, but she was a Maxim 2010 Hometown Hottie finalist, and that’s modeling, right? As a non-model myself, I’m not certain what that means.
She loves animals
One thing that Kaitlynn Carter loves more than anything is a dog. She is an animal lover all the way around, and that’s definitely something we love about people. If you like animals, we feel you might be a pretty trustworthy and amazing person, so we are going to go ahead and give her credit for the fact that these two are actually so happy together with their animals. it’s nice. Animal lovers automatically come across as far more likable and trustworthy people, which is a major plus in her book.
She’s a world traveler
We’ve already discussed the fact that she did live in Italy for four years, but that’s not the only place that Kaitlynn Carter has called home. In fact, she’s been so busy living her life the past decade that she’s lived so many places we wonder if she ever unpacked after living in most of them. She’s lived in Los Angeles, Palm Beach and she several other locations throughout her 20s. We actually really love that about her, and it makes us wish that more people would take the time to really do what they want in life before they settle down.
She’s Brody Jenner’s type
It might seem that she’s clearly his type considering they are engaged to be married, but it’s more than that. The reality star has a thing for petite blondes, and it’s no real secret that this is something he’s always been into. She looks alarmingly like most of his ex-girlfriends, all small and blonde and very pretty. We find it so interesting that people do have types like this, as if you cannot get over one certain person and one kind of person. If it didn’t work with a specific type of person once, we love to wonder how it might work out again in the future.
She’s a bit younger than her fiancé
Kaitlynn Carter is a bit of a younger woman. While Brody Jenner is a few years into his 30s now, she’s not yet reached that age. Her birthday is September 4, 1987. She’s only 28 right now, and she’s got a while before she moves on to celebrate her 30th birthday. We have to say that she does seem a bit more mature than many of the other women her own age that Jenner has dated, and perhaps that is why these two are actually making it work in their marriage.
