Adam DeVine is an American actor and comedian with an estimated net worth of $3 million. He was born in Waterloo, Iowa on November 7, 1983. His mother is Penny DeVine, and his father is Dennis DeVine. He was raised in Iowa and Nebraska, graduating high school in Omaha in 2002. As a child, Adam DeVine was riding his bike when he was hit by a cement truck crossing the street. He was only 11 at the time, and he was injured so badly that he was unable to walk for nearly two years. The accident caused him to lose function in his legs for some time, and it required multiple surgeries to correct the damage that was inflicted upon his body during the force of impact. He spent three years in and out of the hospital for surgeries necessary to get him back to his former self.
By 2006, Adam DeVine and several of his friends were able to form a sketch comedy group that toured the country for many months. They found huge success on the internet, specifically on websites such as MySpace. They became slightly famous and decided that they would pursue their comedy more spectacularly, and perhaps eventually work their way into the acting business. In 2007, he began to receive small roles in small movies, nothing really worth noting as each role was so small. There were a number of roles on hit television shows that were really good, but nothing that he was famous for over time. He did not break out as a star until 2012 when he was cast as the lead singer in an all-male A Capella group in the hit movie “Pitch Perfect.”
Following his hilarious role in the hilariously popular movie, he was then cast as the manny (male nanny) to Jay and Gloria’s newborn son in the hit comedy Modern Family. He plays a young man who is very enthusiastic, hilarious and in love with the oldest granddaughter of his boss, and everyone loves him in the role. He was also invited back to star in “Pitch Perfect 2,” and has been working hard ever since to become a household name. He’s really breaking out in 2016 as he is now starring in a number of hit movies. “The Intern,” “Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates,” and “Ice Age: Collision Course” are all movies in which he is a main character that are either out now or about to come out, and he is working hard to portray even more hilarious roles. He’s still starring on the hit comedy on a regular basis, too.
As far as Adam DeVine’s personal life is concerned, there is no record of him dating anyone at the moment, he’s never been married and he has no kids. He is focusing on his career at the moment. His comedy and his movie roles are the most important at this time, and he is working on increasing his net worth.
