Usain Bolt Net Worth

Usain Bolt

Usain Bolt is a Jamaican sprinter with an estimated net worth of $60 million. He was born on August 21, 1986 in Jamaica. His mother is Jennifer and his father is Wellesley. He has a brother and a sister, and his family has always been very well-known in their small Jamaican town. His family ran the local grocery store, and he spent a lot of time working there with his parents and siblings throughout his childhood and young adult years. Growing up, Usain Bolt spent as much time as he possibly could playing sports. He loved them, thought about them all the time and had a great aptitude for playing all sports. He was fast, so he was good at many things, including football and cricket.

His school, Waldensia Primary, held annual national primary meetings between the different schools in his area, and sprinting was part of the game. He would race against local kids and he was significantly faster than any of them. He began to realize that he was quite special, and others began to take notice of his athletic prowess, too. He was the faster runner in his school by the time he was only 12, and he went down in history for his speed and his ability. His school was proud to have him, and he began to appear in races in more than just the local level.

When he began high school, however, Usain Bolt began to work on other sports. He knew he was fast, but he loved the games so much he wanted to play. He was a cricket player and he played track and field. He was trained by Pablo McNeil, who was a former Olympic sprinter. He was the one who encouraged him to focus on his sprinting and forget everything else as this is what will make him famous and successful in life. That is when Usain Bolt decided he would work on his running and focus on that as a career. It was 2001 when he entered into his first big competition as a runner. Within a year, he was becoming one of the most famous runners in the world, and talk of Olympic greatness began.

By the time he went to Athens in 2004 to compete in the Olympics, he had already broken some serious records and had already become the most famous face on his team. As of the current standing in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, Usain Bolt holds 7 gold medals in the Olympics. He is still young and could possibly return again in four years to compete, but we don’t know that he will consider he will be 33 at the time and many consider that an advanced age for a runner or any other athlete. What we do know is that he is often referred to as the fastest man in the world, and we don’t think that is an inaccurate description of his abilities. He’s good, and he is only getting better.
