Alec Baldwin’s MSNBC Show is in Ratings Decline
I will be the first one to admit. I already forgot Alec Baldwin had a late night talk show. Honestly, I like the guy, but there is just so much TV it is hard to keep track. Why am I confessing this? Well, seems Alec Baldwin’s MSNBC talk show has been steadily declining in the ratings since its started, and things may not be looking good involving the longevity of this show. I, for one, am a big Alec Baldwin fan, and will do all I can to help change this, and so should you.
As Fox News reports, Alec Badlwin’s talk show, ” Up Late with Alec Baldwin” just has not been pulling in the numbers that were expected. On top of that, the show has been in a steady and noticeable decline since the show first started. The thing is, the why is not as easy to figure out. Many famous people have gotten talk shows over the year, Chevy Chase being a perfect(ly awful) example. In most cases, even if these stars have massive fan bases, that does not ensure the fan base will come with you over to your talk show. Baldwin learned this the hard way when he had his podcast canceled from a lack of funding.
How about we don’t let that happen? Alec Baldwin has been entertaining us for years, so isn’t it fair we pay him back by watching his show? I would say that is a decent trade up.
