Bachelor Juan Pablo and Girlfriend Nikki Ferrell Discuss Break-Up Rumors
There’s something about a Bachelor couple that people love to criticize, especially when it comes to Bachelor-gone-bad Juan Pablo Galavis and his non-fiance, Nikki Ferrell. The couple have spoken to the media surrounding the recent press coverage that their relationship ended after Galavis was caught flirting with another woman. “He does a better job of ignoring it than I do. I read what people say, and it does hurt my feelings. I’m only human. But really, we are happy and doing well,” Ferrell says of the rumors and the status of her relationship with Galavis.
“People are going to say what they want to say. I can’t pay attention to that. I don’t like to read what people write, because they don’t know what our relationship is all about,” the former soccer pro said about the rumors.
Ferrell won Galavis’ heart – kind of – at the end of Season 18 of the Bachelor franchise. The soccer star did not propose to Ferrell on the basis that he’s not ready to get married, and that the entire thing was just too fast. However, he did know he wanted to spend some more time with Ferrell, a pediatric nurse from Missouri. They spoke about their relationship while attending a charity event in Florida over the weekend.
Hearts of Reality is an event designed to raise money for kids with illnesses threatening their lives. Galavis, father to a 5-year-old girl, says he believes in supporting causes that support children, “As a father, I know how important this charity is. I’m really happy to help, and it’s the right thing to do. This is what’s important. This is what matters. Not everything else,” he says of his role in raising money for terminally ill children.
Ferrell, a pediatric nurse, understands her boyfriend’s passion for helping children from a different standpoint. “I work with these types of children every day, so it’s near and dear to my heart,”.
