The Best Busta Rhymes Songs of All Time

Busta Rhymes

If you can’t understand it because it’s so fast, it’s probably a Busta Rhymes song; and we love those. He’s one of the most successful, fastest rappers in the world and his career has been quite successful with more than 11 Grammy nominations and collaborations with some of the most successful musicians in the industry. There was a time in which you couldn’t turn on the radio without hearing one of Busta’s most popular songs, and there is nothing wrong with that. Before he was a well-known rapper, he was part of a group of rappers that were quite successful. However, because of Busta’s increasing popularity thanks to some tracks on some pretty famous records, the group began to lose some of its steam, conflict became the norm and they made the decision to stop working together. Fortunately for Busta, that was one of the best decisions of his life. He went on to make some of the most prolific and memorable songs of my particular generation, and not many people my age can help but yell, “Turn it up!” when one of Busta Rhyme’s three best songs came on the radio back in the day. Hearing any of them today is a moment that makes us smile. So, what are the three best Busta songs? We have our favorites, though we know you may or may not agree.

Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See

It was the lead single to his second album, and it was nominated for a Grammy for best rap solo performance in 1997. The song did not win (it lost to Will Smith’s Men in Black) but the song was one of the most famous of the entire year. It’s been roughly 18 years since that song was made popular, and it seems that we can’t get enough of it even today. That’s how you know something is good.

What’s It Gonna Be

This one features Janet Jackson, and it was a hot duet that made history. One of the best songs ever by either one of them, this song goes down in history as being a huge success that people still today sing when they hear it. The song went onto propel Rhymes to further success, which likely angered his former group mates even more than they already were.

Give Me Some More

From his third album, this song is considered one of his best based on the sheer quickness of his rapping and the talent than comes through every note and every bar. It was nominated for a video music award, and the video was almost just as famous as the actual song, which is something that happens only to the best of the best.
