Bindi Irwin Celebrates Fifteenth Birthday

Everyone getting excited for the 21st season of Dancing with the Stars. And today, the first contestant has been announced. It’s none other than Bindi Irwin! Monday Irwin appeared on Good Morning America to share her news with the world. “This is completely different than anything I’ve ever done in my life… I hope I’m able to inspire other to seize opportunities and make a difference,” she said. “I just hope my dance partner, whoever it is, is very patient and likes animals!”

Bindi, now 17, was only 8 years old when her father Steve Irwin AKA the “crocodile hunter” died in a tragic stingray attack. After her father’s death, Irwin carried on in her father’s legacy by doing a few project that included “Bindi, the Jungle Girl” on Discovery Kids.”

Bindi has a great personality just like her father. She’s high energy, has an adorable accent, and seems like a risk taker. However, will that mean she can cut it on the dance floor? Only time will tell! More of the Dancing cast will be announced throughout the week. Season 21 premieres on Monday, Sept. 14 at 8/7c on ABC.
