Chris Pratt Could Play The Lead in ‘Jurassic World’

Premiere Of DreamWorks Pictures' "Delivery Man" - Red Carpet

According to The Huffington Post, “Parks and Recreation” star Chris Pratt is in early negotiations to play the male lead role in “Jurassic World”, the fourth film in the “Jurassic Park” franchise. Pratt’s first major motion picture role will hit theaters next Summer as he plays a leading role in “Guardians of the Galaxy” for Marvel. Josh Brolin was originally targeted for the role, but has been since replaced by Pratt. Rumors are that Brolin turned down the role because of “scheduling and salary”. We, of course, are not ones to judge, but it’s hard to imagine that the “Jurassic Park” franchise would stiff their actors.

We’re awfully curious about the latest installment of the record-breaking movie franchise. Currently, tabbed to star in the film are Bryce Dallas Howard, Nick Howard, and Ty Simpkins. There are no reports regarding the plot of the movie, but it will be directed by Colin Trevorrow, who helped co-write the script with Derek Connolly. At this point, it seems as if Pratt is a lock for the role. We will keep you posted on any new developments about the film.
