There’s an old saying that ‘all is fair in love and war,’ and time and time again countless people have proven that no statement could be truer. Love is one of the few things that could really make people act out of character, and there’s nothing that some people won’t do to get the love they feel is theres. Well while you may think that celebrities are so used to getting everything they want that they don’t have to worry about fighting for love – you’re wrong. Sometimes it’s the people you’d never expect who end up being the loves who are willing to do the absolute most in the name of love. Ironically; however, it seems like the couples are willing to do the craziest things are also the ones that don’t last. Here are 10 crazy things celebrities have done for love.

Everybody has made mistakes in past relationships that they regret, but fortunately for most people, the mistakes aren’t permanent. However, when Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder began dating during the early 90s, Depp did the one thing that most people always warn other against: he got a tattoo of her name. That’s right, Depp had the words “Wynona Forever” tattooed on his right arm. But as you know, the couple didn’t last very long – and Depp has since altered the tattoo to say “Wyno Forever.”

While they were still together, Bieber rented out the entire Staples Center and had a private screening of Titanic just for the two of them. Yeah, that’s gonna be a hard one to top!

Jason Derulo and Jordin Sparks were once one of the cutest celebrity couples on the scene. In 2014, Derulo released the song “Marry Me,” which was, well, all about him and Sparks finally taking the big step. The song made it very clear that Derulo wanted to spend the rest of his life with Sparks, but unfortunately the two called it quits before making it down the aisle. Unfortunately for both of them, the song is going to exist forever.

Apparently, Simpson wanted to brown hair so that she could feel closer to her boyfriend. Unfortunately; however, the hair didn’t bring them close enough to stay together, and they broke up in 2007.

When Taylor began dating Connor Kennedy, the pair quickly fell for each other – and apparently Swift thought he might finally be the one. To be close to her new boo, she purchased a nearly $5 million house across the street from his in Cape Code. But before she could even get settled in – they broke up. Go figure.

There really should be no surprise that Kanye West found a spot on this last. After all, Kanye is known for saying and doing some pretty crazy stuff – and his proposal to Kim Kardashian definitely had his name written all over it. Instead of getting down on one knee in a private or small and intimate setting, Kanye decided he had to do it big. He rented out the San Francisco Giant’s AT&T Park and proposed in front of all of their friends and family by playing music with a live orchestra and flashing the words “PLEEEASE MARRY ME!!!” on a large screen. It’s a good thing she said yes!

In 2014, he released the album, Paula, which presumably was dedicated to his now ex-wife. While this may seem like a sweet gesture, the album made him look kind of creepy – and it didn’t do anything to save his relationship.
