Dave Chappelle Wants to Guest-Star on Scandal for a Very Bold Reason
Everyone knows Dave Chappelle likes to use the “F” word, and he likes to use it a lot. On a good note, it’s been a while since he’s publicly announced the word on an interview or television, and that’s impressive – and great news for those who have to dump that feed before it goes live. However, Chappelle is back in the media after using the “F” word again. As one of GQ’s new Men of the Year, and he’s given a pretty interesting interview to the magazine, with some interesting revelations. We highly recommend you head out and get this interview, stat.
The magazine asked the comedian what might be something on his bucket list and he has a great response.
“For one year, I want o do this thing where I guest-star on as many television shows as I possibly can. I love television. The fact that television ultimately made me famous was very gratifying for me. Christ Tucker did it in movies, and Chris Rock did it from his stand-up, which was very impressive. But you know, the thing that most people will remember me for is Chappelle’s Show. If I were never to do anything else, that show would be a culmination of what was a very long and tedious process of me learning how to be in the television business,” he begins. He follows that up by announcing which show he’d most like to appear. “I’d be a zombie on The Walking Dead. A corpse on CSI. I’d be the first black guy to “F” Olivia Pope on Scandal…” says Chappelle of his desire to be on these three shows for starters.
He goes on in his interview, but that’s the phrase that stands out most. Mostly because he’s right; Pope really does have a thing for white men on Scandal.
