Five Actors Who Should Play Hulk Hogan in a Movie

Professional wrestler, Hulk Hogan, has been an extremely animated person throughout all of time in the public eye. Throughout the years, Hogan has become known for his love of entertaining others, and can often be found putting on some short of show.  In 2013, it came as no surprised when Hogan shared that he was working with two young writers to help put together what would eventually become a biopic on Hogan.  Fans everywhere wanted to know exactly what to expect from the movie, and also which stars they could hope to see on-screen.  Although, Hogan has remained relatively quiet on the details of the film, he has been very vocal about some of the casting hopes he has for the film.  Here are five actors who should play Hulk Hogan in a movie.

1. Chris Hemsworth

In 2013, Hulk Hogan stated that he would love to have actor Chris Hemsworth portray him in a movie.  However, Hogan didn’t seem to know Hemsworth’s name at the time of his statement.  During an interview, Hogan said, “I think we need a serious, serious actor that knows what he’s doing. You know who I thought would be good? That guy that did that action movie Thor.”

2. John Cena

Professional wrestler, John Cena, is a part of the generation of wrestlers that came after Hogan.  Although Cena has yet to star in any significant films, a role as Hogan might help him reach a new level.

3. Vin Diesel

Vin Diesel is one of the biggest and buffest stars in Hollywood.  His on-screen presence is captivating, and he knows how to draw a crowd, much like Hogan did during his wrestling days.  Plus, Diesel already has plenty of acting experience that can help him adequately portray the role.

4. Mike ‘The Miz’ Mizanin

Mike ‘The Miz’ Mizanin originally rose to fame as a cast member on MTV’s The Real World.  After his time on the show, Mizanin decided to pursue a professional wrestling career, and has found great success.

5. Dave Bautista

Like Hulk Hogan,  professional wrestler, Dave Bautista, also has a very muscular frame. His acting chops, combined with his experience in the WWE could certainly help him get into character.
