Five of Our Favorite Recent Ali Fedotowsky Tweets

There’s nothing we don’t love about Ali Fedotowsky. We say it all the time. She’s one of our favorite former Bachelorettes, one of our favorite people in the media and she’s always keeping it real. She’s so much fun to see and to hear from, which is what makes her social media pages the best. She’s a new mom for the first time, and she’s really been kicking it up a notch. Of course, it’s easy to do that when you’re in the middle of spending your time alternately nursing or feeding a newborn baby or sitting down with a sleeping baby in your arms. You have a free hand; you use social media. Since she’s been able to do that these last few weeks, we’ve been thoroughly entranced by her newfound motherhood journey, and we love her social media pages.

Sh….tuff happens You know, I’ve been there more than once. I do have four kids you know. The only trump I have on this hand is the fact that I nursed twins the last time around, and that meant that I had double duty. Get it? Duty?

Sleep is necessary

How much will you hate me when I tell you that all four of my babies – twins included – slept 6 hours minimum at a time, every single night, from day one? Not to brag, but they were excellent sleepers. They also grew and thrived and were healthy as can be, so they were not at risk all of you who want to tell me I should have fed them every two hours. You don’t wake a sleeping baby.

For Real  She’s been there and done that, and I like that she is not too scared to say she’s not sure she cares for the way that things are going with the show. Find love – not a husband. One leads to the other, but only if you’re sure.

They stick together

When you’re tired, you’re tired. There’s nothing you can do about it but try to take a nap or else learn to live without sleep. Believe it or not, it gets worse when they get older because you’re never home!

You tell them, momma

Sleep with your baby, don’t sleep with your baby, breastfeed until your baby is 79 or don’t. Whatever you want to do is fine with me even if it’s not what I like best for my family. None of us does it “Right” and none of us is perfect, so let’s just all get along and remember that our lives all kind of suck most days because of things like diapers and snot and belly aches and the fact that kids can be kind of jerks sometimes. I mean, they’re darn cute and pretty amazing, but they are kind of awful at times. We are all in it together, moms.
