Five Things You Didn’t Know about Brad Pitt
Is Brad Pitt one of the coolest guys on Earth? That is a heady question, but one that is also completely within reason. He is married to one of the most beautiful woman in the world, has made a myriad of wonderful career choices, and only seems to look cooler and cooler, the older he gets. But all the world seems to think it knows everything there is to know about this man, and all the world could not be more wrong. Here are five unique and fascinating things you didn’t know about Brad Pitt.
Chipped His Own Teeth For Fight Club
This fact has always been one that has blown our minds. He was so committed to the insane role of Tyler Durden in the neo-classic Fight Club, he had his teeth chipped by his dentist before he started filming the movie. He did that just to an an heir of insanity to the character. It worked, and after, he had them restored. #Money.
His First Screen Kiss Was During the Show Dallas
Though saying the name Shalane McCall means nothing now, she was the young actress who was on the receiving end of Brad Pitt’s first on-screen kiss. His nick name was Pit Bull in high school, so we don’t think was his first “actual” kiss. Hey, dude’s got skills with the ladies. Who can even be mad about that?
Has Reservations for Outer Space
When Richard Branson booked a massive outer space flight that will be happening in the near future, one of the name’s on the list of people who paid millions for a trip into space was Brad Pitt. The best part is, he made this these reservations in 2010, and still completely intends to follow through.
Was Method Acting for True Romance
Without delving too deeply into the meaning behind this one, Brad Pitt told Conan O’ Brien he did some “method acting” when he got his role as the stoner in the cult classic, True Romance. You have to remember that role. The dude on the couch with the honey bear? It is some of his best work, and he is on-screen for five minutes. Yup, that was all Pitt. No acting there at all.
He Is Banned from China
How insane is this face. Due to the political upheaval his Seven Years in Tibet movie caused, Brad Pitt has been banned from China since 1997. Must make it really tough when your wife is a U.N ambassador for all nations, yet you cannot visit one. We are sure this will be lifted, but still insane to know. It is not like he wrote and directed the film. He just played a part in that. That ban makes no sense.
Honestly, when it comes to Brad Pitt, that is just the tip of the iceberg. With World War Z having becoming one of his most successful roles yet, it is clear there is much left in Brad Pitt. Add to that the fact that him and his wife adopt a new child every few years, and it is safe to assume there will be lots we more we learn about this amazing actor and overall cool guy.
