Texas Motor Speedway Media Day

Duck Dynasty’s Willie Robertson is a very interesting character.  Rarely seen without his signature bandana, Robertson has quickly become one of most well-known characters on the show. His love for hunting and the outdoors traces back to his childhood growing up in Louisiana and Robertson and his family are currently living the American dream.  Now earning millions of dollars each year, Robertson is not just a reality TV star, but a successful businessman.  In fact, there is much more to Robertson than meets the eye.  Despite his scruffy appearance, he’s actually pretty well put together.  Here are five things you didn’t know about Willie Robertson.

1. He has a degree in business.

Although the success of Robertson and his family may seem like a stroke of odd luck, that is simply not the case. Robertson earned a business degree from Harding University and used his knowledge to help with the family business.

2. He’s worth $20 million.

Willie Robertson may not look like much, but you can’t judge a book by its cover.  Robertson’s net worth is approximately $20 million dollars, which means there’s a pretty good chance he has more money than your favorite celebrity.

3. He met his wife when they were in grade school.

Robertson and his wife, Korie, met at summer camp while they were in elementary school. According to Robertson: “Korie and I met at a summer youth camp. I was in the fourth grade; she was in the third grade. We were on a hike and I asked her to hold hands. We went to different schools — I was in public and she was in private — but we’d see each other in the Christian youth group during the year.”

4. He’s met Barack Obama

Nothingsays you’ve made it like meeting the president, and Robertson has certainly made it. In 2014, Robertson and his wife were invited to the State of the Union address where they “happened to run in” to the president.

5. He has five children.

Although Robertson only has three biological children, he proudly considers himself a father of five amazing kids.
