Former Bachelor Winner Nikki Ferrell isn’t as Bad as People Think
Nikki Ferrell is a name you recognize, but you probably can’t place her unless you are an avid watcher of The Bachelor (and who isn’t?). She is the woman who works as a pediatric nurse in the Midwest and ended up winning the heart of soccer star Juan Pablo Galavis when he was the man lucky enough to date several men all at once. Of course, he quickly earned a reputation as being someone who the ladies didn’t like as much as they thought. He came across as shady, in it for the wrong reasons and not all he was cracked up to be. Nikki Ferrell, however, stuck it out to the end, determined to find something about this man worth loving, and she apparently did. She won the contest, but she did not get an engagement ring. He didn’t even tell her he loves her. Now she’s fresh from their recent split after appearing on Couples Therapy and she’s opened up about why the couple broke up. And we learned just a few interesting things about her in the process.
Nikki Ferrell is a Class Act
Despite the fact that she appeared on this particular reality show and decided that this particular guy was a good one (that remains questionable), she seems to be a class act. Most women would bash their ex in the press after listening to him spend over a year telling the press he can’t tell her he loves her because he doesn’t, telling her that pretty much everything wrong in their relationship is her fault and even telling the press at one point that she has to work on herself before he can love her. However, she didn’t. She kept it classy saying it was a mutual decision and they both put in the work to make it work. Good for her.
She’s Not a Quitter
She said it herself; she does not quit. Even when quitting means getting out of a relationship that everyone in the world has access to and can see is a pretty big trainwreck. Fortunately for her, Galavis is a quitter and she’s been set free to hopefully find a nice man in the Midwest.
She Did Not Want to be Galavis’ First Priority
One thing she did say about Galavis in her split is that she understood she would never be his first priority, and she wouldn’t want to be. She feels that having a daughter automatically makes her second priority to a single dad. However, she did feel that she didn’t even make it that high on his list of priorities. We can’t say we are shocked.
