Getting to Know the Cast of Married to Medicine
When it comes to reality TV, Bravo’s Married to Medicine is definitely in a league of its own. Premiering in 2013, the show follows seven Atlanta women who work in the medical field. While they have to deal with the stress of a demanding profession, the women must also find time to balance family and other responsibilities. While you may think this group may be a little too busy to partake in any drama, in true reality TV fashion, this bunch definitely has their moments. However, for many viewers, the focus on a group of career minded women is enough to keep them tuning in every week, and with the third season recently ending, many people are already wanting more. If one thing is for sure, all of these women are definitely married to medicine in one way or another. But if you missed out on seeing the ladies in action, here’s your chance to get to know the cast of Married to Medicine.
Dr. Heavenly Kimes
After joining Married to Medicine as a main cast member in season 2, Dr. Heavenly Kimes is already making a name for herself. However, prior to the show, Dr. Kimes was already making a name for herself in the Atlanta medical circle for her successful dental practice. Used to finding success in all her endeavors, Dr. Kimes graduated at the top of her class with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery, and she also holds a real estate license, is an author, and a public speaker. Dr. Kimes is also happily married to Dr. Damon Kimes, and she is a proud mother of three children. However, despite all of her professional accomplishments, Dr. Kimes can still throw shade with the best of them and she has no problem letting her opinions be known.

Lisa Nicole Cloud
Joining Married to Medicine in season 3, Lisa Nicole Cloud is one of the cast members who isn’t a doctor – but being married to one is close enough. However, just because she isn’t busy saving lives doesn’t mean that her work is important. Aside from being the wife of Dr. Darren Naugles, Cloud is a hard-working woman who is the CEO of “several successful companies.” She once worked as a pharmaceutical sales rep where she earned the nickname “Ms. Millionaire Maker.” According to Bravo, Lisa’s life goal is, “to help people identify their God-given talents so they can do more, be more and achieve more, and impact our community in a positive way.” However, despite her best efforts to be a positive force, she’s definitely done some things that have ruffled a few feathers on the show, including getting a background check on one of her fellow cast members.

Toya Bush-Harris
An original cast member of Married to Medicine, Toya Bush-Harris is a native of Detroit who moved to Atlanta to raise her family. Married to Dr. Eugene Harris, Toya is a strong and independent woman who is no stranger to letting her opinions be known. Unlike the other women on the show, Toya is a stay-at-hoe mother who believes that not working is the best option for her family. However, prior to becoming a family woman, Toya spent years working for Fortune 500 companies and is also a trained teacher. According to Toya, “Having had experience as a teacher, my hope is that I can continue where the teacher has left off. As a mother and former educator, my goal is for my sons to use the classroom, their experience, and my reinforcement as a ‘classroom for life.” As you can imagine, Toya’s choice to stay at home, has caused some problem between her and other cast members who feel like she “does nothing and has everything.”

Dr. Jackie Walters
Even before Married to Medicine, Dr. Jackie Walters was already a star in her own right. As a well-known Atlanta OBGYN, Dr. Walters has several celebrity clients including Toni Braxton. Walters credits her life in small-town Mississippi as the reason for her wanting to pursue a career in medicine. According to Dr. Walters, “I came from a small town in Mississippi and nobody at home would ever really talk and tell you stuff. They made everything seem so fearful, and I truly said, “When I grow up, I am going to be a doctor so that I can educate women so that being a woman isn’t a fear.” Now extremely successful, Walters enjoys having the ‘perfect’ image, and many of her cast mates can’t stand her obsession with being skinny.

Quad Webb-Lunceford
Quad Webb-Lunceford has one of the biggest personalities on Married to Medicine, and she isn’t afraid to show it. Recently married to psychiatrist, Dr. Gregory Lunceford, doesn’t consider herself married to medicine, in fact, she says that medicine was “lucky enough” to marry her. However, all of her cast mates aren’t so into her larger-than-life personality, and Lisa Nicole even went as far as to do a background check (yes, a real one) on Lunceford. Yup, that takes throwing shade to a whole new level.

She has wanted to be a doctor since 8th grade, and she’s definitely the type of person who always get what she goes after. Aside from her work, she is also a devoted wife and mother who is great at finding balance. Although she may seem perfect, Dr. Whitmore’s constant willingness to speak her mind has sometimes gotten under her cast mates’ skin. But hey, a few opposing opinions definitely aren’t going to stop her!
