Gwyneth Paltrow to Host President at Her Hollywood Home

Gwyneth Paltrow lives life with her own set of controversy, but she’s not letting naysayers and those who are following her potential divorce get in her way. The actress is busy preparing to host the biggest dinner of her life in her home. The Oscar winner is planning on hosting a big dinner for President Obama at her home in Los Angeles in October. The October 9 dinner is being planned by the Democratic National Committee, and she’s going to be the woman who hosts the party at her home.

The dinner will be followed by a reception in which the president will answer questions asked of him by the guests at the dinner. The guests who will attend will not get to attend without paying a hefty price tag. The cost of a plate begins at $1,000 and goes all the way up to $32,400 per ticket.

The 41-year-old actress isn’t dining free of charge, either. She’s reportedly paying the price to join the meal as well, as it’s going to support the democrats. She’s also not the first celebrity to host the president for a dinner. Barack Obama has also been hosted by celebrities such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Meryl Streep and Anna Wintour. It’s also been reported that Andy Cohen and Michael Kors have also hosted the president at some point in time.

Other guests who will attend the event are unknown at the time, but it’s reported that each of the stars that have hosted the president in the past will also attend the president’s dinner at Gwyneth Paltrow’s home in Los Angeles. Whether or not her sometimes estranged sometimes-not estranged husband, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, will be in attendance is currently unknown. However, with an event like this to plan, she’s not in the mindset to think divorce.
